Many people are under the misconception that when they have their furniture cleaned it will stay wet for hours, sometimes days leaving the family with no place to sit. Unfortunately this is true with company's that clean furniture the same way they clean carpet and with the same cleaning agent.
Furniture padding can act like a huge sponge absorbing excess water and be difficult or impossible to extract a large percentage of the water used to clean with. After 24 hours of being wet the risk of mold and mildew present themselves.
What We Recommend
When we clean furniture we utilize 2 distinctive systems. The deciding factor is fabric type and resiliency. However both systems are LOW MOISTURE!
One system consist of mild mechanical agitation and special cleaning agent to remove embeded soils.
The second system consist of Vapor Steam to Deep Clean and Sanitize.
Attention Allergy Sufferers
Whenever possible we prefer to use vapor steam, 280 degrees of quick drying steam to kill bacteria, dust mites, remove allergens & pollutants. Using only distilled water and steam we eliminate the overbearing perfumed fragraces others might use and eliminate any reaction you might have to cleaning agents even in their mildest forms.
Imagine a 7' couch with 3 cushions being cleaned with less moisture than most use to clean 1 cushion! Thats right, a complete couch can be cleaned with less than 1 gallon of distilled water. Most furniture will be dry within 1 hour, however fabric type and humidity can effect drying times.
